Tottenham have finalized a deal with Manchester City for Savinho, with the Brazilian winger set to join Spurs in a transfer that could reach £85m.
The 20-year-old had already accepted personal terms with Tottenham earlier in the summer, and the clubs have now settled on a package worth £75m upfront, with an additional £10m available through performance-related bonuses.
This agreement marks a significant milestone in Tottenham’s efforts to overhaul their attacking lineup, as the club continues to pursue a separate deal for Omar Marmoush.
Tottenham finalize Savinho transfer
The agreement between Tottenham and Manchester City includes a guaranteed £75m, while the remaining £10m is tied to achievable bonus clauses, with £5m of that considered highly likely to be met.
The final structure of the deal is significantly higher than the £65m figure that was floated in earlier reports during the transfer window. If all bonuses are triggered, Savinho would become one of Tottenham’s most expensive attacking signings in recent years.
Spurs have been intent on strengthening all three forward positions before the transfer deadline, with plans to bring in a left winger, a right winger, and a central striker. Savinho has been identified as the primary target for the right flank.
Omar Marmoush deal progresses
Tottenham are also making headway on the Omar Marmoush front, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirming that talks for the Egyptian forward have entered the final stages.
Personal terms with Marmoush were agreed earlier this week, and Tottenham are confident that the transfer will be completed soon after the Savinho deal is officially signed off.
The two negotiations are being handled independently, but Tottenham are expected to invest around £150m in total for both players. With Savinho’s package potentially reaching £85m, Marmoush’s transfer fee would be in the region of £65m.
Tottenham still pursuing Gakpo
Cody Gakpo remains on Tottenham’s radar as they look to complete their attacking rebuild. The club has also agreed to personal terms with the Liverpool forward.
However, this move is currently on standby. Liverpool are expected to secure at least one more winger before allowing Gakpo to leave, and there is a possibility they could bring in two new wide players.
Liverpool’s primary target is Bradley Barcola, while they are also working on a deal for his Paris Saint-Germain teammate Ibrahim Mbaye.
Savinho and Marmoush headline Spurs revamp
Tottenham’s immediate focus is on finalizing the arrivals of Savinho and Marmoush, which would dramatically reshape their attacking options ahead of the new season.
Savinho has already agreed to personal terms and now has a club-to-club agreement in place, while Marmoush’s negotiations are at an advanced stage after his contract terms were settled earlier this week.
The combined investment for the two attackers is expected to be around £150m, highlighting the scale of Tottenham’s ambitions for their forward line as the transfer window approaches its close.
