Canadiens to celebrate Carey Price with Ring of Honour recognition

Carey Price’s outstanding tenure with the Montreal Canadiens is set for another notable acknowledgment during the upcoming season.

The organization confirmed on Tuesday that Price will be added to the team’s Ring of Honour on Nov. 10. The event at Bell Centre is scheduled for the evening after the former netminder officially receives his Hockey Hall of Fame nod as part of the 2026 class.

Carey Price’s legacy in Montreal

Price dedicated his entire 15-year NHL journey to the Canadiens, cementing his status as one of the most decorated goalies in the franchise’s storied history.

He tops the team’s all-time goaltending lists for both appearances and wins, having suited up for 712 contests and securing 365 victories in a Montreal uniform.

His tenure with the club was highlighted by a collection of the league’s top individual accolades, including the Hart, Vezina, Ted Lindsay, and William M. Jennings trophies.

Ring of Honour ceremony details

The Ring of Honour festivities will provide the Canadiens with another platform to salute Price’s immense contributions to the organization.

The ice-level celebration at Bell Centre is set for Nov. 10, just 24 hours after Price is enshrined into the Hockey Hall of Fame’s 2026 class.

With this latest honor, Price joins an exclusive group as the 62nd Canadiens player to earn Hall of Fame distinction.

Price’s memorable playoff journey

Price was also instrumental in guiding Montreal to the Stanley Cup Final in 2021.

That postseason push remains a cornerstone of his 15-year run with the Canadiens, adding a memorable playoff chapter to an already impressive career portfolio.

Price’s success on the global stage

Price’s impact was not limited to the NHL or his club team. On the international front, he helped Canada secure Olympic gold in 2014.

Two years later, he added another major trophy to his resume when Canada triumphed at the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.

His blend of league honors, franchise milestones, and international victories will now be celebrated with his induction into the Canadiens’ Ring of Honour.
