Michael Carrick unsure about Man Utd future after 3-0 defeat

Michael Carrick has confessed that he does not know what lies ahead for him at Manchester United after the club suffered a 3-0 loss against Bournemouth. The manager is under growing scrutiny following yet another damaging result, but he maintains that he will keep working in the same manner and do what he considers right for the club.

Carrick speaks about his Manchester United future

Carrick stated that he was fully aware of the circumstances but was not anticipating any specific verdict on his position. He emphasized that he would continue as usual, underlining his fondness for the club and his dedication to serving its best interests.

“I’m carrying on as normal. I love this place, and I always do what I feel is best for the football club, whatever decision is made,” Carrick said, adding that he was not expecting anything in particular.

The United manager also verified that club executives paid a short visit to the dressing room following the Bournemouth loss. Nevertheless, he minimized the importance of their visit, maintaining that it was nothing out of the ordinary and that they had stopped by briefly, just as they typically do after a match.

When asked why Manchester United had not been able to end their poor sequence of results, Carrick recognized that there was no simple answer. He proposed that multiple factors had played a part in the situation, conceding that if he had possessed all the solutions, he would have stopped the issues from arising.

Carrick further stated that he would have taken action if there had been anything within his power that could have altered the situation.
