Paris Saint-Germain recovered from a two-goal deficit to secure a 2-2 draw at Lille, grabbing a point thanks to two goals deep into added time.
This result means PSG have now drawn on both of the opening matchdays of their Ligue 1 title defense. They are still searching for their first league win of the campaign after also falling 1-0 to Lens in the Trophée des Champions.
Lille control the game before PSG’s late surge
Lille seemed set for a second straight win under manager Davide Ancelotti after dominating the contest. Two goals orchestrated by Olivier Giroud gave the home side a comfortable 2-0 lead.
The opener arrived when the 39-year-old former France international set up Hakon Haraldsson, who drilled the ball into the net from 20 yards out.
Lille doubled their advantage in the 84th minute. Dilane Bakwa, making his debut after a loan move from Nottingham Forest, bent a beautiful shot past the PSG goalkeeper.
PSG’s injury-time goals flip the script
PSG responded with urgency in the final moments and sparked their comeback in the 91st minute. Vitinha hammered a superb effort into the top corner to cut the deficit to 2-1.
Four minutes later, PSG completed the turnaround. Vitinha swung in a cross and Marquinhos headed home the equalizer, leaving Lille to settle for just a point.
This draw marks PSG’s second consecutive 2-2 result in Ligue 1, following a similar comeback against Rennes last weekend.

Lille were only minutes away from back-to-back wins under Ancelotti before PSG’s late double changed everything.
PSG remain winless in domestic competition this season. Their campaign started with a 1-0 loss to Lens in the Trophée des Champions, though they did edge Aston Villa 2-1 in the Uefa Super Cup.
Despite another frustrating draw in Ligue 1, PSG showed their resilience by clawing back from two goals down, netting twice in the final minutes to earn a valuable point at Lille.
