The midfielder admitted that being sidelined is frustrating for any player and described watching matches from the sidelines as particularly difficult.

After missing four league fixtures, the Napoli midfielder made his comeback last week and has been focused on rebuilding his condition to consistently feature again.

The Scotland international played a decisive role in Napoli’s 1-0 triumph over Cagliari, finding the net just two minutes into the match. Despite the quick breakthrough, Napoli were unable to extend their advantage further during the game.
