Luis Enrique’s team initially trailed despite a promising start. Le Havre capitalized on a slick attacking sequence, with Josh Maja scoring in the 18th minute to give the hosts their first first-half goal this season.
PSG equalized through Hakimi, who assisted Mika Godts in the 26th minute. Two minutes later, the Moroccan defender put the visitors ahead himself, capping a threatening run behind the defense with a well-placed shot to make it 2-1.
The Parisians aimed to increase their lead before halftime, but Djibril Ouziad and Arnaud Bodard made crucial stops in the late stages of the first half.
Achraf Hakimi hat-trick secures PSG win
Hakimi kept up his excellent play after the break, scoring from a superb free-kick in the 55th minute to give PSG a two-goal advantage. He nearly completed his hat-trick a minute later, while Maja almost pulled one back at the other end, but his header hit the post of Matvey Safonov’s goal.
The Moroccan then delivered his second assist of the night, setting up Senny Mayulu, who calmly beat Bodard after the goalkeeper had rushed out about 30 meters from his goal. Hakimi sealed his first career hat-trick in the 67th minute, finishing off a spectacular individual performance and making it 5-1.
With the result secure, PSG focused on preserving their lead. Safonov made two key saves in the 83rd minute and during stoppage time to deny Le Havre another goal.
The win temporarily put PSG four points ahead at the top of the Ligue 1 standings, extending their league winning streak to six matches.
