Real Madrid has publicly responded to recent speculation concerning Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, firmly dismissing claims that the Spanish club has explored a move for the France international.
A number of media reports had suggested that the Madrid side were interested in signing the attacker, with some outlets even alleging that discussions had already taken place regarding a possible transfer. The club has now moved to address those stories directly through an official statement.
The club denies any communication with the player
In its announcement, Real Madrid stated that no form of contact had taken place between the club and Olise. The statement emphasized that neither direct nor indirect conversations had occurred with the footballer, his agents, or anyone connected to his entourage.
The club explained that reports describing an alleged pursuit of the Bayern player were inaccurate and did not reflect the reality of the situation. By issuing the statement, Real Madrid sought to put an end to the growing speculation surrounding the winger’s future.
According to the club, the information circulating in various media outlets lacked a factual basis and should not be interpreted as evidence of transfer activity involving Olise.
Emphasis placed on Bayern relationship
Beyond addressing the transfer rumors, Real Madrid also highlighted the strong connection it maintains with Bayern Munich. The statement described a long-standing relationship built on cooperation, mutual appreciation, and trust between the two institutions.
Club officials noted that both organizations have traditionally conducted their dealings according to principles of respect and loyalty. Real Madrid stressed that any potential interest involving a player under contract with Bayern would first be discussed at club level before any other steps were considered.
The Spanish side also expressed disappointment over the publication of stories that, in its view, did not correspond with the facts and risked creating unnecessary speculation around the two clubs.
Olise remains under long-term contract
While transfer reports continue to circulate, Olise remains tied to Bayern Munich through an agreement that runs until 2029. The winger is therefore already committed to the Bundesliga champions for several more years.
In addition, reports indicate that Bayern are interested in extending that arrangement even further. According to those claims, the German club would like to secure the player’s services until 2031.
For now, however, Real Madrid’s position is clear: the club insists that no discussions regarding Olise have taken place and that the rumors linking the player with a move to the Spanish capital are unfounded.
